Hey guys!! Okay, I know, I know. It’s been a WHOLE MONTH since I last posted. I’m sorry!! But oh my gosh, do I have SO many updates for you all!! So buckle in!

FINISHING OUR TIME IN JAPAN!!

There is so much to share about our last few weeks in Japan, but I want to tell you about one moment that really stood out to me.

Every Tuesday, we got to serve at an elderly home, singing songs, sharing the gospel, and spending time with the residents. On our last day, one of the guys on my squad shared a testimony about his grandma accepting Christ when he visited her the week before. UM, HELLO!! PRAISE GOD!!

The residents and workers were so invested in his story. Near the end, he invited anyone who wanted to accept Jesus or learn more about Him to come talk to us afterward.

s

One of the workers started moving closer to us, and when I saw our host and another girl from my squad praying over her, I looked at another guy on my squad, and we both thought, “I KNEW IT.” We had both felt a deep tug on our hearts for this woman without knowing why.

Our host then asked if we could go with this woman to visit her aunt, who was in hospice with stage four lung cancer, and pray for her.

Here’s the crazy part: this woman wasn’t a Christian, but she had heard about the power of the Lord and wanted us to pray for her aunt. So we went with her to the hospital. As we walked, she shared that she knew the stories of the Bible and really liked them but needed more time to think about everything.

When we arrived, her aunt looked incredibly weak, and her breathing was so faint. Our entire group gathered around her and started praying.

You guys, I genuinely think this was one of the most powerful moments of the trip so far. It felt like everything stopped, and the presence of the Holy Spirit was so heavy in that room. The woman who brought us was bawling, and one of our teammates even said she felt an arm around her shoulder, like the Lord was surrounding us.

E

As we continued praying, her aunt’s breathing seemed to improve. By the time we left, she was making snorting sounds. We left believing God had heard our prayers and trusting Him for healing.

We haven’t received an update since then, but this moment reminded me so much of Mark 2, when the friends of a paralyzed man brought him to Jesus. We may not be the ones who heal or save people, but we can bring them to Jesus and trust Him with the outcome.

Please pray for this woman, her aunt, and their family. Pray that this encounter would draw them closer to Jesus and that the seeds planted that day would continue to grow.

Japan was such a beautiful place to be, and I am forever grateful for everything the Lord did there! Please keep Japan in your prayers. Pray for revival, for hearts to be open to the gospel, and for the name of Jesus to be heard throughout the country.

HELLO, SOUTH KOREA!!

Leaving Japan was bittersweet, but we had a little blessing before we left. We got to sleep in actual beds for the first time in SIX WEEKS. You guys, I may have cried.

We stayed in a hotel near the airport, and our night consisted of lying on the beds in awe, doing schoolwork, and hanging out together. The next morning, we headed to South Korea!

Our first week here was a debrief week, which meant lots of worship, countless rounds of Mafia, and time to rest and reconnect as a squad. We also did a 50-hour prayer burn, taking turns praying in one-hour slots so that prayer continued for 50 hours straight. Honestly, we could have gone so much longer. It was such a beautiful time of seeking the Lord together.

We haven’t explored much of South Korea yet because we’ve been enjoying our time together before our squad splits up in Vietnam. It’s exciting to think about what’s next, but also bittersweet knowing we’ll soon be going in different directions.

A CHANGE OF PLANS!!

We were supposed to head to Vietnam yesterday, but our visas weren’t approved in time, so we had to change our plans.

And somehow, what could have been a stressful situation turned into a HUGE blessing!

We’re now staying in a new Airbnb in another part of Seoul, and OH MY GOSH, YOU GUYS. THIS PLACE IS BEAUTIFUL. We have two giant floors, two living rooms, huge couches, TVs, and so much space to hang out together. God is SO kind!!

Since we don’t have a ministry host in South Korea, this week will be a lot of ATL, which stands for “Ask the Lord!” We get to pray, seek His direction, and ask what He wants us to do each day.

I’m so excited to see what comes from this unexpected time. We don’t know exactly what each day will look like, but we get to trust that the Lord already knows where He wants us to be.

Sometimes our plans change, but that doesn’t mean God is any less in control!

WHAT GOD HAS BEEN TEACHING ME

I’ve been learning so much during this season, especially about the importance of devotion and spending intentional time with the Lord.

It’s easy to get caught up in ministry, traveling, schoolwork, and everything happening around me. But I don’t want to become so busy doing things for God that I forget to spend time with Him.

I’m learning what it means to have a deeper reverence for the Lord and to trust Him even when I don’t understand what He’s doing.

It’s also been interesting being the only racer on my squad who has already done and understands a little bit of this program. It’s been such a blessing to pour into my teammates and encourage them as we navigate this season together.

At the same time, I’m realizing how much I still have to learn. I want to stay teachable, continue growing in my faith, and be willing to follow the Lord even when it feels uncomfortable.

God is so good, and He is stretching my faith in ways I didn’t expect. I’m so grateful for everything He continues to teach me!

FUNDRAISING UPDATE!!

I’m currently sitting at 49% funded, and I still have a ways to go before I’m fully funded!

If you would prayerfully consider partnering with me, I would be SO grateful. Whether through monthly support or a one-time donation, every contribution helps me continue living out this calling.

Fundraising isn’t just about reaching a number. It’s about inviting others to partner with what God is doing around the world. Thank you to everyone who has already donated, prayed, encouraged me, or shared my updates. I genuinely couldn’t do this without you!

If you feel led to give, you can find my fundraising page below!

PRAYER REQUESTS!!

1. Japan

Please pray for revival throughout Japan, for hearts to be open to the gospel, and for the seeds planted during our ministry to continue growing. Pray for the woman we met at the elderly home and her aunt, especially for healing, comfort, and opportunities for their family to encounter Jesus.

2. South Korea

Pray for our remaining time here, especially during ATL ministry. Pray for divine appointments, meaningful conversations, and wisdom as we seek the Lord’s direction. Also pray for our squad as we prepare to split up and head into a new season.

3. Vietnam

Please pray for our squad as we prepare to enter Vietnam and split into smaller ministry teams. Pray for unity, wisdom, safety, and boldness as we share the love of Jesus while respecting local laws and circumstances. Pray for the Vietnamese people and for believers faithfully serving there.

4. Alyse

Please pray for my teammate Alyse, who went to the hospital today with rib pain and feels like she can’t breathe. Pray for answers from the doctors, relief from the pain, and complete healing in the mighty name of Jesus. Pray for peace and strength for her as she navigates this.

THANK YOU!!

If you’ve made it this far, THANK YOU for reading and following along with this journey!

This past month has reminded me that God is working even when plans change, even when we don’t have all the answers, and even when we don’t get to see the outcome of every prayer.

He is faithful in every country, every season, and every unexpected moment. I don’t know exactly what the next few weeks will hold, but I’m excited to keep saying yes to Him and see what He does!

Thank you for praying for me, supporting me, and being part of this journey. I love you all, and I can’t wait to share more updates soon!!

Until next time!!
