Hi Everyone!
This is my final blog post before I head out on the journey God has been preparing me for. In just a matter of days, on August 28, I will be boarding a plane to New York City, the very first step in what I know will be a life-changing mission trip to Italy and Albania. My heart is overflowing with gratitude, joy, and a deep sense of awe as I think about everything the Lord has done to bring me to this moment.
When I first committed to this trip, I knew it was going to require a level of trust in God that I had never experienced before. The financial need alone seemed so great, and there were moments when my mind wanted to lean on worry instead of faith. But time after time, God reminded me that He is my source and my provider. Now I can stand here today and say with complete confidence that I am fully funded. Every single gift, every prayer, every word of encouragement came exactly when it was needed. This was not coincidence. This was the faithful hand of God making a way.
There’s a song by Passion called The Lord Will Provide that has been on repeat for me these last few weeks.
One of my favorite lines says:
“Seek first the kingdom and its treasures and everything else it will be added.”
These words have become a steady reminder that when my focus is on the kingdom of God and His purposes, He takes care of the rest. This trip is not about me. It is about His kingdom. It is about bringing His love, His truth, and His hope to the nations. It is about saying yes to the call of God, even when the details are not yet clear. And it is about watching the Lord provide everything needed for the mission He has placed before me.
I am so excited to step into this next chapter, not because I know exactly what will happen, but because I know the One who holds it all in His hands. I know that He has divine appointments waiting. I know He has people prepared to hear the Gospel. I know He will use this time to stretch my faith and draw me closer to His heart.
As I go, I am asking for your prayers. Please pray that I will walk in boldness as I step into this calling. Pray that I will be sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit, quick to obey, and ready to speak the name of Jesus wherever I go. Pray that I will have the courage to love people deeply and the humility to serve them well.
This will be my last update before I leave, but I will be sharing stories from the field every week or so. I cannot wait to tell you about the ways God moves in Italy and Albania. Thank you for believing with me, for supporting me, and for joining me in this mission. Together, we are part of something eternal!
The Lord has provided for every step up to this point, and I am confident He will continue to provide in every moment ahead. To Him be the glory forever.
